Water Conservation Infographic

Option 2
Why and how should we conserve water now to ensure that we can meet future needs? Create an infographic to show your water conservation recommendations for how we can adjust our water use to meet growing demands. Water conservation is important because it keeps water clean and pure and conserves the environment. It is also important because the supply of water is not endless.

In the Kitchen
only run the dishwasher with a full load
scrape your dishes clean instead of rinsing them before washing
use your garbage disposal sparingly
place a stopper in the sink to wash pots and pans, rather than turning on faucet each time a rinse is needed

In the Bathroom
when brushing your teeth, turn off the faucet until it is time to rinse
install low-flow shower heads
take showers instead of baths; showers with low-flow shower heads often use less water than baths
use a toilet tank displacement device; these devices will reduce the volume of water in the tank but still provide enough water for flushing

In the Laundry
wash only a full load when using an automatic washing machine
use the lowest possible water level setting on the washing machine

Outdoors
water lawns early in the morning or late at night to avoid evaporation
avoid watering lawns in windy weather
use drip irrigation systems for bedded plants, trees, or shrubs
use a broom rather than the hose to "sweep" walks and driveways
use a bucket of soapy water to wash your car and save the hose for rinsing

This poster is an appropriate example for water conservation because it has equal amounts of graphics icons and written information.
This information graphic attracts people by making them notice the large numbers and eye-catching graphic designs. The great thing about the text is that it is short and understandable.
This info graphic has a lot of information and can't be understood correctly because of the cluster

Inspired by the other three water conservation info graphics, I have illustrated an info graphic concluding that the many ways to save water, organizations that recommend it, and what would happen if we didn't save water.

Club Logo Design

Homeless Pets Club Logo Design
The goal of the club is to save domestic animals and provide them with a safe home.
Getting Started
To get started on this project, 20 sketches were made based on the client's preference of having a house symbol and an animal. The clients wanted to give out a clear message of what they are all about. When designing the name of the club, the clients suggested to have the name in royal look to give it a playful and formal vibe. The client were also raised on having a actor a dog for the animals aspect the logo.

Refining Designs
When choosing where the color should be filled, the client wanted the best color orientation to show the happiness they give out.  These three designs were chosen because they had everything the clients  demanded. The house and animal symbols to the playful font of the club name made then choose these three b&w final designs. The client had said, "They fill everything that we asked, can't wait to see them in color."
B&W Final Designs
Final Design
Concept Two for the final design was chosen for the club because the colors gave out a happy tone and both animals that were requested were present. The final design for the club was chosen to be in promotion by click-on buttons and T-shirts. Concept Two was though to be "Really, really brilliant and cute" by the clients.

These are the final concept that were design for the club.
Reflection
What could've been done differently was the selection of the concepts. Concept Three conveyed a meaning which was to be open 24-hours because a domestic animal could be in need of a home anytime and anywhere. Personally, I think this concept was the better option because it also gave out a joyful and vibrant tone.
